My name is Michael Robinson, and I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Nevada, Reno, in the interdisciplinary Program of Hydrologic Sciences, working with Joel Scheingross.

Before pursing my Ph.D. I was a USGS Hydrologist at the Arizona Water Science Center, where I worked on projects ranging from 

• Regional aquifer monitoring

• Geophysical based investigations of groundwater availability and faults influence on groundwater flow

• Sediment transport in the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon

• Development of an instrument capable of taking automated water quality samples.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the Northern Arizona University.

I am also a registered Engineer in Training in Arizona, and worked as a land surveyor at Schephard Wesnitzer Inc. in Flagstaff, Arizona.
